This is the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies. Complete 1st edition set with 175 numbered double-page lithographed color maps and plates. The 3 volume atlas is very large and heavy. In the original red cloth and in INCREDIBLE condition. The original owner of this atlas set was Charles Newell Fowler. He was a lawyer and a New Jersey Congressman in the House of Representatives from 1895 to 1911.

Normally you just see a few of the maps that have been taken out of old damaged, partial books. Very few full sets are still around, and even fewer in this condition.
